We are committed to addressing incidents of hate or bias on our campus, and appreciate your help in bringing these incidents to our attention. Individuals who have been the targets of, and/or who witness, a hate, bias or discrimination incident may use this form. For us to best be able to respond, please include as much information as possible. If this is an emergency situation that requires immediate medical or emergency services, call the Binghamton University Police at 911 from a campus phone or 607-777-2222 from a mobile phone.
If you wish to be contacted, include your name and preferred contact information. Anonymous reports are accepted, but could possibly limit the ability of the University to fully address the incident reported. Your confidentiality and trust is very important to us. In certain circumstances involving safety or criminal action, we may not be able to guarantee complete anonymity. Matters are generally handled discretely and in conformity with University privacy policies, and information will only be shared with campus individuals with a legitimate need to know. The University also has strong anti-retaliation policies that protect individuals who report incidents.
All reports are viewed by the Affirmative Action Officer with consultation from the Bias Incident Response Team.
